I do not get paid to write reviews. I am just your average joe who likes a nice home theater set up with decent sound. This home theater system is it. The matching up of the Denon reciever and the Boston Acoustic speakers is perfect in my opinion. It has excellent sound and the price is easy on the pocket book. I like the active bass box and the ability to control the amount of bass. The instruction manual for set up could have been a little clearer, and a little more explanation on some of the features for those of us who are not the most up to date with all of the latest technical jargon. But set up was pretty straight forward and relatively easy to do. The styling of the speakers and the reciever is clean and straightforward. I could spend hundreds or thousands more. But why. It is more than adequate for my needs. If... I even checked out Consumer Reports and their rating system. The end result...purchase a Denon DHT from Amazon. This unit arrived on-time and in perfect condition. The installation proceeded without any hiccups.
